She grew up in Michigan and lived in Las Vegas for 15 years before moving to Oregon 10 years ago. Her career as a travel nurse brought her to Vegas, where she stayed to care for a family friend and his wife, both of whom sadly passed away from cancer.

Her hobbies include cycling, paddle boarding, and gardening. However, her true passion and obsession lie in animal rescue. She fosters puppies and dogs and is a dedicated member of the board of directors for 4 All Mutt Kind, a 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue organization. She plays a significant role in organizing and managing fundraising events for the organization, which supports foster homes from Springfield to Portland.

At home, she has one dog that she plans to train as a therapy dog when the pup is old enough. This dog was originally a foster, but she decided to adopt it about six months ago.
