Santiam Hospital & Clinics’ vision is to serve as the healthcare provider at the center of their communities. As part of our mission, we provide quality health care to persons suffering from illness, injuries, or disabilities and promote the general health and welfare of the community through education, support, and medical services.
Santiam Hospital and Clinics is one of only three independent, acute-care hospitals in Oregon. We specialize in a wide spectrum of treatments, serving more than 40,000 patients annually in Stayton, Oregon, and at multiple clinics in four nearby communities.
Santiam Hospital and Clinics consists of 12 clinics, which include three satellite clinics. Santiam Hospital & Clinics employs over 700 people, including 70+ medical staff committed to excellence in community-based care and positive patient relationships.

Mission
The mission of Santiam Hospital is to provide quality healthcare to people who suffer from illness, injury, or disability and to promote the general health and welfare of the community through education, support, and medical service. As we carry out our mission, the following basic tenets apply:
I. The Hospital is committed to providing quality care, without regard to patient age, culture, ethnicity,
gender expression, gender identity, language, mental disability, physical disability, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status.
II. Each member of the healthcare team understands that patient welfare comes first. The Hospital atmosphere
is one of sincerity, courtesy, respect, and friendliness to patients, workers, visitors, and the public.
III. Patient privacy is honored, and we accept the responsibilities that accompany the trust and understanding that patients have placed with us as they are treated at the Hospital.
IV. We recognize the importance of the basic spiritual needs of each patient, and we encourage religious ministry to be available for every patient, in conformity with patient faith and expressed desire for counseling.
V. The Hospital serves as the health center of the community and encourages community participation in Hospital activities. We willingly work with public and private agencies concerned with the health and welfare of patients and the community, including young people interested in health careers.
