Birth Prep Classes

At Santiam Hospital & Clinics we strive to enhance the lives of families through educational support and community programming.

Childbirth Preparation Class

This class is designed for pregnant women and support partners looking to learn more about the childbirth process and hoping to alleviate fears going into the experience. Discussions include birth physiology, comfort measures, natural childbirth, pain relief options, interventions, newborn care, bonding, postpartum recovery, and breastfeeding. 
 
This class is held as a series and offered either the first four Tuesdays of each month from 6:30pm-9:00pm or two Saturdays each month from 9:00am-1:00pm. Please contact Allison Gladney with scheduling requests.

Class schedules are based on participation. Sessions may be rescheduled or unavailable if minimum enrollment is not met.
