From the moment a Santiam Ambulance crew arrives on scene, advanced prehospital care begins. Our highly trained EMTs and Paramedics provide compassionate, evidence-based emergency medical care to patients experiencing illness, injury, or other medical emergencies. This early intervention, combined with continuous assessment and treatment during transport, creates a seamless transition from the field to hospital-based care.
Santiam Ambulance is a hospital-based Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance service operated by Santiam Hospital & Clinics. We provide 24/7 emergency medical services to a primary response area of approximately 160 square miles, serving the communities of Stayton, Sublimity, Aumsville, Marion, and Scio.
Our service responds to more than 3,500 requests for service annually, including both 9-1-1 emergency responses and interfacility transports. To meet the needs of our communities, Santiam Ambulance staffs up to three Advanced Life Support ambulances equipped with modern medical equipment and technology to deliver high-quality patient care.
