We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to enhance our healthcare team of innovated leaders.

Santiam Hospital & Clinics is an independent, not-for-profit, 40 bed acute-care community-based hospital with 13 clinics across 8 specialties settled in the foothills of the Cascades serving many recreational sites as well as agricultural communities. We are an ever growing, progressive, up-to-date healthcare facility that is

12 hour shifts

Department Description: The Family Birth Unit is on the second floor of the patient tower and includes:
One triage room
5 spacious Labor and Delivery suites
Two with labor tubs
One OR
Newborn Nursery
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, high quality, direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process to care for mothers and their newborns.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with diverse population and possess personal sensitivity to the needs and experiences of others with a non-judgmental attitude.
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks and appropriately adapt to diverse and high risk situations to offer the best possible care to patients.
  • Ability to manage time in an organized fashion, planning and prioritizing work under pressure.

Job Qualifications

  • Current unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Oregon
  • Healthcare Provider Level BLS
  • Family Birth:
  • ACLS and NRP required within six months of hire
  • One year of experience preferred
