Join Santiam Hospital’s Cardiology team in Stayton, Oregon, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care in a collaborative practice. As a community-based hospital, Santiam Hospital provides quality care to a service area of more than 40,000 throughout the Santiam Canyon and Willamette Valley. In this role, you will partner closely with one of the areas most skilled and reputable Cardiologist in a shared office setting to evaluate, manage, and support patients across the continuum of cardiology
care.

You will benefit from a dedicated 1:1 Medical Assistant-to-provider ratio and an advanced EPIC electronic health record system equipped with integrated AI scribe technology. Job Responsibilities

• Full-time, 40 hours per week including 34 patient hours and 6 dedicated administrative hours. Possible 4-day work week available.
• Manage cardiac follow-up appointments and chronic cardiovascular disease cases.
• Interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs) accurately.
• Perform thorough surgical cardiac clearance evaluations.
• Maintain a standard patient volume of 16 to 20 patients per day.
• Collaborate directly with the attending cardiologist on complex cases.
• No call coverage.

Job Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) eligible for licensure in Oregon.
• Minimum of 1 to 2+ years of clinical experience in Cardiology or Internal Medicine.
• Exceptional EKG interpretation skills and comfort with independent clinical decision-making.
• Efficient, patient-focused, and highly team-oriented.
