5210 I Love Me


5210 promotes increasing fruits and vegetables consumption to five servings or more a day, reducing leisure screen time to 2 hours or less daily, increasing physical activity to 1 hour a daily, and eliminated sugar sweetened beverages. The 5210 in 30 Challenge initiated and further developed by local health professionals to include a self-monitoring tool to assist participants with adoption of lifestyle change over an initial period of 30 days.

There is good evidence that the addition of "tracking" or self-monitoring as adopted in the 5210 30-Day Challenge substantially increases weight loss success (Journal of American Dietetic Association 2011, Annual Review of Nutrition 2001, Annals of Internal Medicine 2005).
