What is GERD?
Also called heartburn or reflux, GERD is the flow of the stomach’s contents and acid back up into the esophagus. Santiam Memorial Hospital is the first in the region to offer the TIF procedure, an incisionless surgical solution for the treatment of GERD.
Located at Santiam Memorial Hospital’s main campus in Stayton, Santiam Women’s Clinic offers comprehensive women’s health care provided by Dr. Susan Taylor, obstetrician and gynecologist, and Elise Erickson and Mabel Dzata, certified nurse midwives. Medical care ranges from prenatal care and birth to gynecological surgery.
