Willamette Valley Hospice Adult Grief Support Groups
Six-week grief support groups for adults are offered throughout the year. Participants gain support from others experiencing grief and loss as they gain an understanding of the grief process.

Child Birth Preparation Class
A 5-week Monday night class to prepare you and your support person(s) for labor, birth and postpartum. Discussions include birth physiology, comfort measures, natural childbirth, water birth, pain relief options, interventions, baby care, bonding and breastfeeding.

Sibling Preparation Class
This is a 2-hour Saturday class designed for parents and their older children when a new baby is expected in their lives. It will help alleviate anxieties regarding the new baby and mother’s impending hospitalization, help give your child a sense of security and importance, and discover parental strategies for coping with an additional child in the family. Come learn how to create an experience of personal growth for both siblings and parents. We do paint T-Shirts so have child(ren) wear clothes that can get dirty.

Newborn Care Class
This is a 3-hour Saturday class designed to build confidence in parenting your newborn baby. We will focus on baby’s first month: How to keep baby safe and healthy; hospital procedures and newborn appearance; baby communication and crying; feeding, bathing, sleeping; and sanity for parents!

Breastfeeding Class

Memorial Service
